Program Options

School Year

All classes have a lead teacher and an assistant teacher. There is also a floating teacher who takes turns in each classroom and substitutes when teachers are out. Parent helpers are also involved in the classroom each day. Actual class placement is conducted at the discretion of the director to ensure age-balanced classes. Age ranges for class placement are approximately as follows:

 

2 Day Toddler Program

• Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Children aged 18 months to 2.8 years old

• Monday and Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Children aged 18 months to 2.8 years old

The 2 day Toddler classes are a maximum enrollment of 10 children.

3 Day Class
• Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: For younger 3-year olds

The 4 day classes are a maximum of 12 children.

4 Day Class
• Monday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: For older 3-year olds

• Optional Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: For older 3-year olds

The 4 day classes are a maximum of 15 children.

5 Day Class
• Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: For ages 4.0+

The 5 day classes are a maximum of 15 children.

 

Extended Day Options

• Early Drop Off is available Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
• Stay & Play is offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Children bring a lunch to school, and parents have the option of picking up at either 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.

Stay & Play: An intentional enrichment program to facilitate all areas of your child’s development and learning interests.

Time: 12:00 – 2:00

Toot Toot Tuesday’s – Alllll ABOARD! Get ready for full S.T.E.A.M ahead.  All activities are dedicated to brain building activities; science, technology, engineering, arts & math. Children will be encouraged to predict, anticipate and manipulate outcomes to the day’s given “problem solver.”

Wonderful, Wordy Wednesdays– This literacy based program connects children’s books to hands on activities.  Soon to be readers develop a deeper sense of text and its meaning when given additional activities to support’ the content of what has been read to them.

Game On, Thursdays– Come and play some traditional and not so traditional games.  Some days we will create and take (home) and on others, we will reinforce the fun of cooperative games in a non-competitive environment.
