Enrichment
At Red Barn, our team of creative teachers continually strive to develop new learning and enrichment activities for children to explore, discover, create, and build. We consider Red Barn a community school and welcome community programs to come in and show the children what is happening around them. This year we are working with Lands Sake Farm, Jamming With You music education, and Flower Yoga. Additionally, we welcomed visits from the Fire Department and Weston Pediatric Dental. Our teachers and students benefit from monthly classroom consultations with an Occupational Therapist. For the parents and children we have partnered with Wellesley Pediatric Speech Therapy to offer weekly sessions during the school day for their clients who attend Red Barn.
Jammin’ With You
Jammin’ With You Music Enrichment provides modern, upbeat and interactive music enrichment to children ages 6 weeks – 6 years. Our Music Specialists perform live and engage students (and teachers) in dancing, singing, imaginative play, themed-songs, and of course, jammin’! Visit jamminwithyou.com.
Yoga with Laurel
Through story, song and verse in context with the season of the year, children learn the practice of yoga and mindfulness that enhances brain-body connection which strengthens cognitive skills. Visit https://www.laurelkulow.com/yoga
Land Sake’s Farm
Twice a month, farmers from Land’s Sake Farms visit us a Red Barn to provide unique, hands-on experiences. Whether it is a visit from a friendly chicken, planting seeds in our garden, or learning how to compost with worms, each visit is a beloved event that our students look forward to.
